Oak Alley will remain closed until we complete the process of cleanup from Hurricane Ida . The plantaton grounds has extensive vegetative debris from the storm but the buildings and alley are secure. We appreciate your messages of support during this difficult time for the entire SE Louisiana region. We will update our website when we have more information on re-opening.

Visitors can extend their visit to the area and experience more of the River Region.

Local restaurants offer cajun/creole cuisine, another way visitors can get a "taste" of the history of this region.  

With so much to see and do near Oak Alley, visitors are encouraged to "stay a while" and spend the night in the area.  Hotels, small inns, overnight cottages and quaint bed & breakfasts are a great enhancement to your visit to Louisiana and this area.
