The plantaton grounds has extensive vegetative debris from the storm but the buildings and alley are secure. We appreciate your messages of support during this difficult time for the entire SE Louisiana region. We will update our website when we have more information on re-opening.

Our phone system is also currently down so please email us at for information or questions on advanced reservations.

The online ticket portal is temporarily closed until we can determine when we will be able to re-open.

Oak Alley Plantation welcomes and encourages travel writers and journalists to visit us when in and around the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area. With proper credentials, members of the press are allowed complimentary admission and are provided with a press kit and any other information (slides, brochures, etc.) needed.

Please contact Hillary Loeber, prior to your visit so that arrangements may be made. We do ask that journalists forward us a copy of their finished piece after publication so that we may keep our files current.
